SHAKESPEARE Finds It's Way Back To Runaway

Deon C. van Rooyen, writer of SHOT and OFFICE BANTER, brought his feature screenplay, BILL SHAKESPEARE back to Runaway Productions and joined producers, Linda Palmer and Florence Regina as a co-producer for his crime/buddy picture.

Described as "OTHELLO MEETS PULP FICTION", the story revolves around a Shakespearean tongued hit man hired to find a money-grabbing "Brutus" within a Haliburton-type corporation but the traitor is kidnapped in a seemingly unrelated matter before they can nab him, leaving Shakes and Ernie (Copernicus) to sort through all the agendas to uncover the truth.

Palmer fell in love with the project a few years back and held the option but was in the midst of production on two other features and couldn't package it properly at the time. With the team of Regina, van Rooyen and Palmer, they hope to see production late this year or early 2011.
