Florence Regina, writer/director/producer of the feature length documentary, DIABETES & ME: ALONE IN THE CROWD, has brought on board her Soleil Films project, Linda Palmer to co-write/co-direct and co-produce. The story follows one woman's journey from shame to pride by dealing with her type 1 diabetes on a daily basis.The project is currently in post-production.
Since joining the project, Palmer has helped initiate a social media presence with the creation of a Facebook, Myspace, Twitter and Indiegogo page. Anyone who has been touched by this rapidly growing disease can now actively follow, share their stories or even be involved in the making of this documentary.
