Dave Rodriguez of Tiki-Toonz in Belmont Shore, joins the animation team for DIABETES & ME: ALONE IN THE CROWD, as the Animation Designer. Florence Regina, (producer / writer / director) of the documentary, previously worked with Dave to develop the original Lil' Eff character. "We are really grateful to have Dave continue with us on the project after the delay from Florence's surgeries, " states Linda Palmer (co writer / director / producer). "He's a fabulous talent and has captured the vision Florence has had."
Dave has worked on TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES, POLICE ACADEMY and ALVIN AND THE CHIPMONKS to name a few of his previous works. He and Dan Gutman will work together to create the story of Lil' Eff, which will also spin off to its own series in the near future.
